Edwin Robertson, Chairman, Tradar, said that Gualtieri was selected based on his excellent track record building organizations in the financial technology sector, as well as his strong executive and leadership qualities.

"I am thrilled that Gerry Gualtieri is joining Tradar as CEO," said Robertson, in a release. "Throughout his career Gerry has demonstrated an exceptional ability to achieve and exceed business goals and targets. I have the highest confidence in Gerry's abilities and believe he will play a vital role in guiding Tradar through its next growth phase."

Gualtieri said, "Tradar has built an excellent reputation for market-leading products and customer service and I'm honored and excited to join the company. I am greatly looking forward to working with Tradar and, in particular, to taking the company to the next level of growth by leveraging the company's core technology and building on existing commercial successes."

Gualtieri will take up his new duties early in the New Year and join Tradar's board. He replaces Tony Swei, who established the company as supplier of portfolio management solutions for the hedge fund industry. Swei will continue to assist the transition process and serve in a consulting role.
